Yes I know its called ‘forced perspective’ or in other words ‘illusion’. It is one of the trickiest forms of advertising used to sell mammoth products which they make to seem as really ‘cool little gadgets’ that ‘you got to buy man!’. So here’s the story of a smart Chinese fellow who manufactured the world’s biggest mobile phone (Chinese have really small hands) and when it went to the Germans, they found it difficult to comfortably hold it but guess what happened when it went to the Zulu Africans (NO am not saying Obama!) they could very well fit it in their nose (Seriously!). So finally it came to be known as the ‘other world’s’ (minus China) smallest handset.
Here are some examples of how you are tricked into buying these products:
So what you think about these two iPhones? is the new iPhone that much small? (courtesy BoingBoing)
Do you think its really that small? They actually picked the guys who is 8 inches; am talking about size of his hands :p
Am still not convinced. Will Adidas make me grow that BIG?
